The Recipe Subscription by Letter Mail from Wild Bluebell Homestead is a monthly membership in which collectible sourdough recipe cards arrive in your mailbox the old-fashioned way. Each mailing includes a carefully prepared sourdough recipe printed on durable recycled archival cardstock, designed to be cooked from, written on, and preserved as part of a growing kitchen recipe archive. The recipes explore the many ways sourdough can be used—from foundational breads and fermentation techniques to practical everyday uses for starter and discard—drawing on traditional baking knowledge, heirloom kitchen practices, and real home-baking experience. These recipe cards are intended to be kept, adapted, and returned to again and again as baking skills develop, rather than bookmarked and forgotten online. Many mailings also include a short seasonal letter from our homestead and occasional paper keepsakes inspired by everyday sourdough life. By remaining fully analogue and designed for long-term use, this subscription offers a slower, more intentional alternative to digital recipe collections while supporting recycled materials, environmentally responsible production, and a circular approach where each card becomes more valuable with time. Members receive one mailing each month and can join with either a monthly membership or a yearly plan that includes twelve monthly mailings with two months included free.
